Ciudad de M\u00e9xico.-<\/strong> La Comisi\u00f3n de Estudios Legislativos que preside el senador Manuel A\u00f1orve Ba\u00f1os aprob\u00f3 un dictamen que proh\u00edbe definitivamente el uso de cigarros tradicionales, electr\u00f3nicos, as\u00ed como puros y productos que contengan nicotina, en lugares 100 por ciento libres de humo.<\/p>\n

A\u00f1orve Ba\u00f1os explic\u00f3 que se est\u00e1 trabajando para proteger los derechos de los no fumadores y desalentar el consumo de estos productos a base de tabaco y nicotina ya que sus emisiones son nocivas para la salud, tanto del fumador directo y de quienes lo rodean.<\/p>\n

Igualmente, se est\u00e1 prohibiendo la publicidad, por cualquier medio, de cualquier producto de tabaco o que contenga nicotina.<\/p>\n

El senador dijo que desde el 2018 s\u00f3lo 14 de 32 entidades federativas han implementado legislaciones cien por ciento libres de humo de tabaco como Aguascalientes, Baja California, Baja California Sur, Chiapas, Ciudad de M\u00e9xico, Estado de M\u00e9xico, Morelos, Nuevo Le\u00f3n, Oaxaca, Sinaloa, Tabasco, Veracruz, Yucat\u00e1n y Zacatecas.<\/p>\n

Precis\u00f3 que diversos estudios han demostrado que, en dichos estados, no se ha afectado la econom\u00eda de las empresas del sector de alimentos y bebidas y s\u00ed ha existido una disminuci\u00f3n considerable en la prevalencia de exposici\u00f3n al humo de tabaco de segunda mano (HTSM), en lugares p\u00fablicos.<\/p>\n

Finalmente, A\u00f1orve Ba\u00f1os detall\u00f3 que, con la aprobaci\u00f3n de este dictamen, los gobiernos de las entidades federativas y de los municipios deber\u00e1n adecuar sus leyes, reglamentos, bandos y dem\u00e1s disposiciones jur\u00eddicas, de acuerdo con las competencias que a cada uno corresponda para que sean congruentes con lo dispuesto en el presente decreto.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
