2026 dos sitios arqueol\u00f3gicos \u2014Camutla y Sacualpan\u2014 en la Costa Grande de Guerrero, tras una inspecci\u00f3n realizada por especialistas para evaluar el impacto de nuevas obras p\u00fablicas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Estos asentamientos, que sobrevivieron brevemente a la conquista espa\u00f1ola, fueron identificados gracias a recorridos terrestres y a\u00e9reos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El hallazgo aporta informaci\u00f3n crucial sobre c\u00f3mo las comunidades ind\u00edgenas afrontaron la colonizaci\u00f3n, pues revela patrones de asentamiento y las razones de su posterior abandono, relacionados principalmente con la reorganizaci\u00f3n social y la carga tributaria impuesta por el sistema novohispano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Los especialistas del INAH Guerrero realizaron la inspecci\u00f3n como parte del seguimiento a proyectos de infraestructura del Plan Michoac\u00e1n por la Paz y la Justicia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La secretaria de Cultura, Claudia Curiel de Icaza, recalc\u00f3 que la protecci\u00f3n del patrimonio debe integrarse desde el inicio de las obras p\u00fablicas, ya que la intervenci\u00f3n arqueol\u00f3gica permite \u201cprevenir afectaciones y recuperar informaci\u00f3n sobre comunidades que vivieron la transici\u00f3n entre el mundo prehisp\u00e1nico y el periodo colonial\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El arque\u00f3logo Rodolfo Lobato Rodr\u00edguez, responsable de la inspecci\u00f3n, subray\u00f3 la importancia de identificar y proteger el patrimonio arqueol\u00f3gico ante los posibles impactos de proyectos carreteros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El registro de los sitios se logr\u00f3 mediante recorridos del 25 al 30 de marzo de 2026, utilizando tambi\u00e9n drones para el reconocimiento a\u00e9reo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En el poblado de El Chico o Capire \u2014identificado como Camutla\u2014, se contabilizaron 39 estructuras en ocho hect\u00e1reas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Se observaron terrazas, altares, muros de contenci\u00f3n y alineamientos de piedra vinculados a unidades habitacionales y sectores ceremoniales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Las caracter\u00edsticas arquitect\u00f3nicas se corresponden con los periodos Poscl\u00e1sico Tard\u00edo y Colonial Temprano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La validaci\u00f3n de la ubicaci\u00f3n se obtuvo cotejando la informaci\u00f3n recabada en campo con fuentes hist\u00f3ricas del siglo XVI, como las Relaciones Geogr\u00e1ficas y el Mapa de Ortelius, que mencionan Camutla en la ribera baja del r\u00edo La Uni\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As\u00ed, la tradici\u00f3n oral y la documentaci\u00f3n antigua coincidieron en la identificaci\u00f3n del asentamiento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El segundo sitio, registrado previamente como Los Ticuiches, corresponde al antiguo poblado tolimeca de Sacualpan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Las plataformas de gran tama\u00f1o y los mont\u00edculos habitacionales con cer\u00e1mica roja erosionada evidencian la presencia de una comunidad significativa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El arque\u00f3logo Miguel P\u00e9rez Negrete explic\u00f3 que estos hallazgos aportan elementos fundamentales para la toma de decisiones sobre conservaci\u00f3n y manejo del patrimonio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La regi\u00f3n fue habitada por etnias como los tolimecas y chumbias, y sometida por la Triple Alianza y los pur\u00e9pechas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La variedad \u00e9tnica y los cambios pol\u00edticos se reflejan en los patrones de asentamiento diferenciados respecto a otras \u00e1reas de la Costa Grande.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La inspecci\u00f3n abarc\u00f3 otros sitios como La Parotita, El Hu\u00e9rfano, La Palanca, Los Metates, La Salada, Las Pe\u00f1as, Las Ara\u00f1as, La Parotita II, Zorcua y Los Azufres, donde se detectaron mont\u00edculos sobre lomer\u00edos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/expresionesguerrero.com.mx\/expresioneswp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/gro3-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14927\" srcset=\"https:\/\/expresionesguerrero.com.mx\/expresioneswp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/gro3-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/expresionesguerrero.com.mx\/expresioneswp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/gro3-300x200.jpg 300w, 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cuatro de ellos fueron se\u00f1alados para protecci\u00f3n inmediata por su cercan\u00eda al trazo carretero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El proceso involucr\u00f3 la colaboraci\u00f3n de funcionarios municipales, como el edil Jos\u00e9 Suazo Espino, y pobladores del \u00e1rea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Esta coordinaci\u00f3n, destacaron los arque\u00f3logos, demuestra la relevancia de incluir a la sociedad civil en la protecci\u00f3n del patrimonio arqueol\u00f3gico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La identificaci\u00f3n de Camutla y Sacualpan, que sobrevivieron a la conquista pero fueron abandonados debido a la reorganizaci\u00f3n colonial y la carga tributaria, permite esclarecer c\u00f3mo las comunidades ind\u00edgenas de la Costa Grande enfrentaron la transformaci\u00f3n radical del siglo XVI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Este dato ayuda a reconstruir el panorama social y territorial posterior a la llegada de los espa\u00f1oles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El INAH, en coordinaci\u00f3n con el gobierno local, ha iniciado gestiones para la conservaci\u00f3n de los sitios identificados. La secretaria de Cultura insisti\u00f3 en que desarrollar infraestructura y preservar la historia nacional son responsabilidades que deben avanzar juntas, para as\u00ed evitar la p\u00e9rdida de
